Step ONE, have that precious baby!! Then, we will get you on the calendar!

Once we pick the date, you will receive a PDF file with getting ready information. With this information, you will receive some tricks on how to bring your baby to the studio sleepy and comfortable.

Once you arrive to the studio, you will be given the opportunity to pick out colors you prefer… you may also show me inspiration shots from previous sessions I have photographed –> instagram . I then always let my clients know that baby is BOSS 🙂 So, we can have all the ideas we want, but the baby will ultimately decide what he or she will comfortably do.

Frequent stops during the session are normal. Babies sometimes need to smell momma, or get topped off to have a full belly. Of course, it’s normal for babies to have accidents on our set ups, so clean up breaks happen often too!

The studio is extra warm! I completely understand if you need to step outside the studio to get a breath of fresh air.

I split my session into three parts.

1. Bean bag shots. These are posed shots that are best when baby is asleep.
2. Prop/Fur/swaddled shots.
3. Family shots. These can also be arranged at the beginning if littles are involved.

I have experience with photographing over 2,500 newborns. Safety is extremely important to me. Your baby will never be put into a position that is harmful.

Sessions are typically an hour, however, my studio does not have a clock and I go until I feel we have a good variety of images.

After you session, your images go off to my wonderful editor. Your images are put into a gallery (both in color and in black and white) w/in 5 days. After you receive your images, you will have 5 days to place your order. There is no minimum order requirement. You can purchase anything from one print up to your whole gallery of digital images.
