How to schedule the right date when I’m not sure when he/she will be born? The way I have found that it works best is to schedule AFTER baby arrives. There are a few reasons I do this.

1. Because it’s important to me that mom feels her best. Although I do love encouraging sessions to be scheduled in the first two weeks of life, I never want that to be more important than making sure mom feels okay (she did just give birth at all, lol).

2. Because this way you will get in the studio at a more accurate time. If baby comes early or late, this way will keep us from having to scoot around your session date. To be promised a date within two weeks of your baby’s birth, be sure to purchase your newborn session fee here.

Do you have outfits/props/wraps? Yes! Probably the most newborn props in all of Knoxville, TN! I’ve been in business for over 15 years and I’ve accumulated the most precious baby items. I have wraps, bows, bonnets, blankets, props, and more!

Can we bring something to be included in our session!? Well of course! This is YOUR session. We will be sure to get classic, timeless, newborn shots, but I’ve always up for silly or themed shots that personalize your session. So go ahead and bring grandpa’s bible, or grandma’s homemade blanket! Personalize your session so it feels special to YOU.

What should we expect with the sibling/family portion of the newborn session? These are typically done in the first 10-15 minutes of your session. That way, if you think you’re little ones will be antsy to leave, you can arrange for pick up. I don’t mind if siblings stay, but have found it’s often hot and long for little ones to sit through the remaining of the session.

How long can we expect the session? I have perfected my art and typically can get your session completed in under 75 minutes! I don’t stalk the clock, because it’s more important to me that we get good shots!
