Kind of a crazy connection with these little one’s parents, story goes like this! When I was in College my senior year, I leased a house for a year.  Because there was no way I’d miss a summer in Charlevoix, I leased my room for the summer. Alicia, the beautiful momma of these children, was one of the summer renters. She quickly became best friends with some of my roommates. I met her once…the weekend her sweet man proposed. Little did I know that my husband and I would end up getting married on the same day as this wonderful couple, both move to MARYVILLE, TN  AND move into the same apartment complex. I think my jaw dropped when I saw a UHAUL that said Holland Michigan, and then again when I saw Alicia and Matt unloading their belongings from the truck! Really, what a small world!?

Last year when I was just starting out, I contacted Alicia about doing her maternity pictures for her in exchange for the pictures on my website. Lucky for me, she requested pictures of Levi of his first full year! So that’s how my first “Baby Planner” came to be. I’ll never forget this little guy in his dad’s BIG hands. He was super tiny, sweet and sleepy during his newborn session. It’s crazy that 12 months have gone by! A reminder just how precious and fast these first years go. After being a mom, I feel it’s important to say congratulations to the parents for making it through the first year. The sleepless nights are all worth it for the JOY these little ones bring to our lives! Happy Birthday little Levi, may all your dreams come true!
